A sign of maturity is that you don’t care what other people think. I have working email addresses on several services including AOL. While the mere mention of AOL may provoke snickers among some, I’m not about to give it up for the sake of leaving a more favorable impression. Practically, I would have to change too many account settings without it. Also, I’ve been able to archive thousands of emails (coming and going), which is a plus when you’re trying to find a contact or a note you wrote (often to yourself). AOL may not have the sizzle of AOC but the former continues to play a large part in my daily digital life.
